Woodmoor Partners was founded to provide and foster growth between top-notch alternative managers seeking to raise capital and advisors looking to provide best-in-breed products for their clients.
Mr. Eric Shipley is the Founder and Managing Partner of Woodmoor Partners, LLC.
Woodmoor Partners, LLC provides a connection between a private community of family offices, RIA’s, and high-net-worth individuals who seek capital and/or wealth preservation with premium top-tier alternative investment managers across the United States. By leveraging his extensive network of institutional relationships, Eric is focused on delivering a specialized approach to access to non-traditional and emerging managers to his network of industry professionals.
Before launching Woodmoor Partners, Eric was a Principal Director of Strategic Relationship Management at both Envestnet and InvestCloud where he provided sales and service to their largest customers, which included Broker Dealers, Asset Managers, RIA’s and Regional Banks.
Prior to Envestnet and InvestCloud, Eric spent 20 years working in the fixed income space. Eric spent 4 years in Institutional Sales on the Capital Markets desk at SWBC and 15 years running the Business Development department at Advisors Asset Management, a boutique Asset Manager with a wide variety of products and services. Eric was responsible for significantly growing AAM’s business by signing on new Broker Dealers and RIA’s to the AAM platform, where their advisors could access products such as Alternatives, ETF’s, Fixed Income, Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds, Structured Products and ETF’s.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University.
Eric currently holds the Series 7, 6, and 63 registrations with FINRA.
